The Specialization Course in Entrepreneurship and Intellectual Property Teaching in Basic Education is a postgraduate lato sensu program that is grounded in the legal principles and regulations governing postgraduate education in Brazil, as established by Law No. 9394/1996 and Resolution CNE/MEC No. 1, dated 06/04/2018. Its primary objective is to promote the development of reflective and scientific thinking, while also fostering research and scientific inquiry, aimed at advancing science, technology, and culture. Its focus lies in the professional development of educators for teaching entrepreneurship and intellectual property in basic education, with particular attention to high school, in accordance with the principles and guidelines of the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC). Furthermore, the course seeks to disseminate cultural, scientific, and technical knowledge, facilitating continuous education and encouraging the professional and cultural enhancement of participants. It also aims to address current issues, both national and regional, by offering specialized services to the community and fostering a reciprocal relationship. The course is structured into four modules, totaling 360 hours of instruction. The first two modules, comprising 240 hours, concentrate on the theoretical and conceptual training of participants, covering topics such as entrepreneurship fundamentals, intellectual property, new technologies in education, among others. Conversely, the final two modules, with 120 hours, are more practical in nature and oriented towards the application of learned concepts, including multidisciplinary projects in entrepreneurship and intellectual property.
