DESENVOLVIMENTO E VALIDAÇÃO DE MÉTODO PARA A DETERMINAÇÃO DE ÁCIDO FÓLICO EM FORMULAÇÕES FARMACÊUTICAS POR ESPECTROFOTOMETRIA DERIVATIVA

Spectrophotometric methods were developed by zero order and first derived for folic acid determination using NaOH as a solvent to 0.1 mol L-1. The method proved to be simple, selective and robust. Showed good linearity with correction coefficients ≥ 0.9996 and limits of detection and quantification ranged from 0.64 to 0.75 and 1.8 to 2.85 mg L-1, respectively. Assays of accuracy showed recoveries ranging from 98-104% and precision with RSD between 0.2 and 4.8%. The methods can be used for quality control analysis routine as an alternative to the procedures reported in literature.
